VFW Post No. 6133 members conducted a MIA-POW ceremony Saturday at White Mule Winery for the Gasconade Timing Association’s poker run to benefit the Franklin County Honor Flight program. The ceremony conducted by Don Merritt, a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War, identified each item on the table setting for the symbolism represented as a memorial to those still listed as missing in action —many who were prisoners of war.
