Vivian Marie Matlock, 97, Owensville, passed away Sunday, January, 10, 2021, at Frene Valley of Hermann.
She was born Nov. 19, 1923, to Charles S. and Annie (Rattles) Jett, in Canaan.
She was first united in marriage to Theodore Sanders, Dec. 22, 1941, in St. Charles. He preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage to Willie “Wiggs” Matlock, Jan. 26, 1986, at Rosebud United Methodist Church.
Vivian was a member of Rosebud United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Annie; husbands, Theodore and Willie; daughter, Nancy Sanders; and sons, Gary Sanders and Randall Sanders.
She is survived by stepson, Morris Ray Matlock of Columbia; stepdaughter, Marsha McMillian of Sullivan; daughter-in-law, Roseann Sanders of Overland Park, Kan.; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is planned for Thursday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials requested to family’s choice.
