Owensville Walmart manager Glenn Ely spoke Friday to a small crowd gathered in front of the store for a ceremony marking completion of phase one of an extensive remodel. The Owensville store is one of the first in Missouri to receive this new, updated look. The remodel also adds up to 10,000 more products for local shoppers to choose from. This year marks the 15th year for the Walmart Supercenter located at the junction of Highways 19 and 28. On hand for the short ceremony were community leaders. It ended with a ribbon-cutting ceremony organized by the Owensville Chamber of Commerce.
