Wayne “Bones” Moore Misner, 76, Owensville, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 30, 1944, to A.C. and Juanita (Moore) Misner, in Union City, Tenn.
He was united in marriage to Gloria Dalton, Dec. 23, 1962, in Fort Pickett, Va.
Wayne served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on small engines and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by parents, A.C. and Juanita; and sister, Cathey Richardson.
He is survived by wife, Gloria, of the home; children, Mary Ann Fannon and husband Tom and Richard Misner and wife Stacy, all of Owensville; brothers, Jim Misner and wife Jeanette of Linton, Ind., and Frank Misner and wife Pam of Carbon, Ind.; grandchildren, T.C. Farrar and wife Ashley of Jefferson City, Sara Farrar and boyfriend Travis Tucker of Gerald, Emily Nichols and husband Cody of Bland and Ty Misner and girlfriend Haley Ryan of Owensville; and great-grandchildren, Kash and Lawson Farrar, Chandler Nichols and expecting a fourth great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, from 9-11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville with full military honors at 11 a.m.
