William Earl Watson, 83, Owensville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at Frene Valley: A Stonebridge Community in Owensville.
He was born Aug. 21, 1937, to Charles and Merle Watson, in Poplar Bluff.
He was united in marriage to Ruth Wood in Potosi.
Earl, as he was known, was a self-employed roofer for over 20 years. He enjoyed collecting Native American collectibles. He loved yard sale and auctions and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Merle; brothers, Calvin, Tom, Mike and Bill; sister-in-law, Sally, and son, Gary Wood.
He is survived by wife, Ruth, of Owensville; sons, Randy Watson and wife Ruth of DeSoto and Brian and wife Vickie of Kansas City; daughters, Roberta Huff of Gerald and Dawn Gamble Watson of St. Joseph, Tenn.; step-son, Bill Reando of San Diego; and his grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Nov. 14, at First Baptist Church in Gerald.
