Brady McMullin (above), of Belle was the youngest bull rider at this year’s Battle of the Bulls held Saturday at Belle City Park. McMullin is a freshmen at Belle High School. This is his third year competing at Belle. Last year McMullin won the international miniature rodeo association senior bull‘s. All profits from the bull ride support the YaYa’s community crisis funds. See page 16 for more photos from the ride.

The stands were packed at the Belle City Park for the 10th Annual Battle of the Bulls on Saturday. The sanctioned ride is sponsored by the YaYa’s. This year’s champion was Josh Norman. Other top finishers were Dakota Warnken, second; Casey Coulter, third; and Shea Russell, fourth. Only 3.25 points separated  first from fourth place. A mob of children (below) quickly grabbed the prizes during the sheep scramble.
