Zara Travis, 72, Owensville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Frene Valley in Owensville.
She was born April 29, 1947, to Kevork and Patricia (Welch) Ghourdjian in Seattle, Wash.
She was united in marriage to Roland Glenn Travis in September of 1974, in Pasadena, Calif.
Zara was a member of the Living Church of God.
She was preceded in death by parents, Kevork and Patricia; and husband, Roland.
She is survived by daughters, Ruth Travis and Rachel Martin and husband Jon, all of Medford, Ore., and Esther Travis of Bothell, Wash.; brothers, Michael Ghourdjian and wife Connie of Irvine, Calif., Zoe Ghourdijan of Springfield, and Matthew Ghourdjian of Miami, Fla.; and grandchildren, Jesse and Roman Martin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville with Pastor Bill Oswald officiating. Burial was in St. John’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Bem.
