Donna L. Busch, 86, of Hermann, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at her residence.
She was born April 21, 1937, to Vernie (Wolf) and Gottfried Hoehne in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Frederick C. Busch, Sept 18, 1959, at Concordia Church, Kirkwood.
She worked as a medical transcriptionist at Shriner’s Hospital, St. Louis, for over 10 years and previously worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Kirkwood. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Hermann, the Opti- Mrs. Club and was a devoted caretaker for her parents and husband for many years.
She is preceded in death by parents, Vernie and Gottfried; husband, Frederick; and brothers, Richard and William Hoehne.
Donna is survived by son, Theodore C. Busch and wife Lisa of St. Louis; daughters, Margaret Yungbluth and husband John of Hermann, and Charlotte Busch of St. Louis; sisters, Carolyn Zimmermann of Owensville, and Jacquelyn Fischer of Rome, Ga.; brother Ronald Hoehne and wife Marie of Macon; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Hermann, with Rev. Stephen Kamprath officiating. Interment was at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann. Family request donations to Shriners Hospital, St. Louis.
