The newly completed home of the Gerald Area Ambulance District was the site of a celebration last Saturday. A ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by (above, from left) Steve Grgurich and Kent Richardson, Gerald Aldermen; Gary Koepke, Keith Voss and Diane Angell, district board members; and Katrinia Henson, president of the Gerald Area Chamber of Commerce. The district also served a lunch including a cake (right) which commemorated the 45th anniversary of the district’s establishment. The district began in 1974 using mostly donated equipment and property.
