The Gerald Rosebud Fire Department was called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident, with entrapment, on State Route ZZ Monday evening.
Tpr. J. M. Langley, with Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported on the accident that occurred at 8 p.m. near Kamper Road.
Langley reports that Noah A. Ogden, 36, of Owensville was traveling west on State Route ZZ in a 2003 Ford F-150. He crossed the center line and the left front of the F-150 struck the front left of a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Steven D. Martin of Union.
The F-150 then left the roadway and struck several trees before coming to a stop.
Ogden was airlifted to Mercy St. Louis by Arch Air 6. He was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Martin, who was using a seat belt, was uninjured in the crash.
The F-150 was totalled and towed from the scene. The Silverado sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
