Lonigro’s Supermarket held a fundraiser last Saturday. All profits from a barbecue were donated to the family of Lucas Parshall. Parshall was a former coworker of Luke Lonigro’s at Fitz’s Bottling Company. Parshall recently died leaving behind two young children. Lonigro, along with Anna Ognent, Monica Ognent, and Cassie Caldwell (left to right) were surprised by the generosity of a community for a man they never met. Between the profits from the meals sold and cash donations, the group was able to take $3,000 to the family.
