Alta “Nadine” Jarvis, 90, of Owensville, went to meet her Lord and Savior Monday, March 4, 2024 at her residence.

She was born Nov. 27, 1933, to James Franklin and Rilda Pearl (Mobley) Walker in Duke.

She was united in marriage to Carl Jarvis, Dec. 1, 1956, in Bland.

Nadine was a member of First Baptist Church in Owensville where she enjoyed going to church and spending time with her church family and her family. She served Bland Baptist Church as secretary and treasurer for 27 years. Her favorite pastime was watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, sewing, embroidery, reading and working puzzles.

She was preceded in death by parents, James and Pearl; sisters, Ruth Delong, Ruby Hayes, Iva Manes, Orpha Mathis, Opal Medlock and Elma Cox; and grandchildren, Joey DeBoeuf and Kissia Jarvis.

She is survived by husband, Carl of their home; children, Sandy Winistoerfer and husband Rick of Gerald, Roger Jarvis and Brenda of Owensville and Kathy Juarez and husband Joe of Antelope, Calif.; siblings, James Walker and wife Delores of Owensville and Ada Mae Lewis of Rolla; grandchildren, Amanda Stephens and husband Skip of Foristell, Amy DeBoeuf of Clearwater, Fla., Crystal Ditto and husband Andrew of Owensville, Samuel Juarez and Faith Juarez both of Antelope, Calif., Cody Winistoerfer and wife Courtney of Gerald and Marissa Juarez of Citrus Heights, Calif.; and great-grandchildren, Isaac, Ethan, Gabe and Bryson Ditto, Emily and Wyatt Stephens, Macee Jarvis and fiance Trent Garvey, Taryn Jansson, Hayden and Evelyn Winistoerfer and Alita Phillips.

Visitation will be Friday, March 8, from 9–11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Owensville.

Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
