Are you a domestic terrorist? SPLC thinks you are

“There are very fine people on both sides” Donald Trump took a lot of heat for this statement regarding the ‘Unite the Right’ white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in August 2017.

One only has to watch the full news conference to see that Trump was taken out of context. In fact he condemned the KKK and white supremacist. He was defending the rights of citizens who think we should not tear down statues and should preserve our history — a stand that folks of all skin colors tend to agree with and is bipartisan.

TRUMP: Oh no, George Washington was a slave owner. Are we going to take down statues of George Washington? You know what? It’s fine, you’re changing history, you’re changing culture, and you had people — and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally — but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people, but you also had troublemakers.”

This week we learned that this ‘white nationalist’ rally was funded in part by the SPLC, the Southern Poverty Law Center, whose stated mission is to reduce hate in America.

According to a federal grand jury indictment unsealed this week, the SPLC funneled more than $3 million in donor cash to paid informants embedded deep inside the KKK, Aryan Nations, and various neo-Nazi outfits between 2014 and 2023. One particularly enterprising SPLC asset was reportedly a key member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville — the same rally that tragically ended in the death of Heather Heyer and became the cornerstone of Joe Biden’s entire 2020 presidential campaign.(TDS)

After the various events that SPLC helped fund or organize, they will fundraise from their base as fighting the very incidents they helped create.

On April 21, Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt posted on X: “The SPLC spent years laundering left-wing smears into ‘research’ and painting cross-hairs on conservative organizations. Conservatives paid the price. Now, it turns out they were funding groups like the KKK to keep their grift going.” Schmitt called the SPLC a “hate group.”

In early 2009, SPLC targeted Missouri patriots, conservatives and libertarians. SPLC in conjunction with Missouri Democrat Governor Nixon’s Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) created an eight-page MIAC report listing warning signs that someone might be a domestic terrorist or a member of a militia. The signs include: subversive literature such as books on the New World Order or the book America; Freedom to Fascism, certain political bumper stickers and the Gadsden flag of the Revolutionary War with its “Don’t tread on me” motto. The MIAC report was distributed to all Missouri law enforcement agencies warning them to look out for folks with bumper stickers who might be Christians, Gun owners, Ron Paul supporters or supporting the 2008 3rd party presidential candidates of Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin.

A group of us who are supporters of Congressman Ron Paul attempted to meet with the head of the Missouri Highway Patrol in March of 2009 to assure him we wanted political change but were not domestic terrorists. We were denied a meeting. Lt. Governor Peter Kinder and several Republican senators and reps did listen. So did the media. Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder held a news conference calling for Public Safety Director John Britt to be placed on administrative leave until the details of this report could be investigated. The story made national news. In response, the Missouri Highway Patrol Superintendent Colonel Jim Keathley redacted the report and called on law enforcement to stop distributing it.

In 2023, an SPLC lawyer was among 23 arrested on charges of “domestic terrorism” in Atlanta. Conservative Charlie Kirk commented on the arrest: “Here are the 23 Antifa thugs who burned down government property and assaulted cops yesterday in Atlanta, including an SPLC lawyer.

How many FBI agents were reassigned to harass parents, pro-life activists, and Catholics instead of arresting these terrorists?” Kirk was frustrated with the FBI targeting conservatives while ANTIFA was burning the country. Some are questioning if SPLC has ties to Kirk’s assassination.

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, added, “This is not the first time the Southern Poverty Law Center has been connected to domestic terrorism. SPLC was connected to a 2012 domestic terrorist shooting at Family Research Council DC.”

The SPLC is an extremist hate group facilitating domestic terrorism against anyone on the right side of the political spectrum while using the power of government to advance their political agenda using your tax dollars and naive donors’ money.
