A seasonably warm day on the links.
John Viehland’s Belle Tiger golf team finally got that Monday afternoon at Pine Ridge Golf Course during the Belle Invitational Golf Tournament.
Belle competed on their home course against Dixon, Crocker, Licking, Newburg and Calvary Lutheran.
Winning the individual tournament title with a nine-hole round of 42 was Dixon’s Breison Gilbert.
Rounding out the top 10 and also earning medals were Belle’s Avery Craigmiles (42), Crocker’s Jaymz Helmick (45), Licking’s Kolten Sullins (45), Dixon’s Emerson Baker (47), Dixon’s Easton Hance (48), Crocker’s Seth Strutton (48), Dixon’s Malachi Cordoves (48), Calvary Lutheran’s Micah Christman (49) and Crocker’s Noah Jones (50).
Myles Butler (51) and Callen Taylor (52) placed 11th and 12th respectively just missing out on the top 10 and a medal.
Deegan Nelson also carded a 63 good for a three-way tie for 21st place.
Colton Pace rounded out Belle’s contingency of golfers with a round of 64 good for 24th place.
Belle will return to action tomorrow (Thursday) at Cuba Lakes Golf Course for the last of three Gasconade Valley Conference (GVC) matches with a 9 a.m., tee time.
