Bailey Ann Mistler, 25, Owensville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, in Winnemucca, Nev.

She was born May 3, 1997, to Travis and Rachel (Hoenemann) Mistler in Jefferson City.

Bailey was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud. She received a Cross Country Scholarship from Highland Community College in Kansas where she earned two associate degrees, one in Art and one in Science. She then transferred to Columbia College in Columbia, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science. She did all of this in three years.

She had worked for Missouri Department of Conservation, the Bureau of Land Management in Carson City, Nev., and United States Department of Agriculture in Elko, Nev. She then accepted the position of Environmental Coordinator at Hycroft Mining Corporation in Winnemucca, Nev. where she had worked for the past two years.

She was very active in her hiking and rock climbing groups, and loved to travel and spend time outdoors with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Jeri Rae Mistler; uncle, Tracy Bunting; and aunt, Holly Havelka.

She is survived by her parents, Travis and Rachel Mistler of Owensville; brother, Bryce Mistler of Owensville; paternal grandparents, Michael and AJ Mistler of Eldon and Jerry and Linda Bunting of Owensville; maternal grandparents, Gary and Charlotte Hoenemann of Rosebud and Sharon King of Lyons, Col.; uncle Roger Havelka of Owensville and cousins, Madeline Bauer and husband Kyle and son Lucas and Joseph Havelka; aunt Martha and JP Morgan of Longmont, Col., and cousins, Jackson and Silas; aunt Caroline and David Bement of Highlands Ranch, Col., and cousins, Brynn and Brooke; and aunt Jessica and Ben Clark of Brandon, Miss., and cousins Henry and Charles.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m.–12 noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud.

Funeral services will follow at 12 noon with Rev. Aaron Kotila and Rev. Tim Weiser officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rosebud.
