Barbara Lorene Leibach, 88, Berger, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 17, 1938, to the late Oswald and Margaret (Gerner) Biermann in Case.
She was united in marriage to Donald Edward Leibach, Sr. on Oct. 15, 1960, in Berger.
Barbara worked at many factories in the Hermann and New Haven area.
She was preceded in death by husband, Donald; parents, Oswald and Margaret; and brother, Dennis Biermann.
Barbara is survived by sons, Donald Leibach Jr. and wife Twylia, Timothy Leibach and wife Cathy and Christopher Leibach, all of Hermann and Patrick Leibach and wife Lisa of Gerald; daughter, Carla Jacobs and husband Timothy of Hillsboro; sister, Regina Biermann of Hermann; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was held June 6, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Berger, with Father Tim Henderson officiating. Interment was in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Berger.
Memorial contributions suggested to Birthright or American Diabetes Association.
