Barbara Ann Shockley, 90, Rolla, formerly of Owensville, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Phelps Health in Rolla.
She was born Aug. 19, 1935, to the late John and Grace (Eaves) Lewis in Matthews.
She was united in marriage to Leo Shockley on Nov. 22, 1980, in Bland.
Barbara was a member of New Hope Methodist Church in Owensville.
She enjoyed sewing and listening to Bluegrass music with Leo.
Barbara was preceded in death by husband, Leo; parents, John and Grace; daughter, Brianna Eaves Doran; and brothers, Carl Donald “Fremon” and Howard Lewis.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy Wiggins of Rolla and Connie Williams of Owensville; sister, Patricia Lindsay of Fredericktown; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 12, at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville,with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Interment was in Howard Cemetery in Bland.
