Bill Raymond Hart, 89, Owensville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 at Frene Valley a Stonebridge Community in Owensville.
He was born Jan. 13, 1930, to Clarence and Lela (Snodgrass) Hart, in Safe.
He was united in marriage to Elenora Bock, Dec. 23, 1951, in Bland.
Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a machinist in aircraft manufacturing and a member of VFW Post 6133.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Lela; wife, Elenora; brother, Leroy Hart; and sisters, Irma Harrison and Mildred Nie Hayden.
He is survived by son, Mark Hart and wife Lisa of Hillsboro; sister, Rebecca Hull and husband Clinton of Doolittle; and grandchildren, Zachary, Shane, and Brianna.
Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 13, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville from 1-5 p.m. with a V.F.W. Service. Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 14, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with Jim Stafford officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at the Bland Union Cemetery in Bland. Following the committal service at the cemetery, there will be a meal at the V.F.W. Memorial contributions suggested to VFW Post 6133.
