Billy Ray Wolf, 84, formerly of Gasconade, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, in Seattle, Wash.
He was born on March 29, 1942, the son of the late Chrissa and Georgia (West) Wolf, in Gasconade.
He was united in marriage to Anita (Haeffner) Wolf on Aug. 6, 1960, in the Gasconade United Pentecostal Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Anita; his parents, Chrissa and Georgia; daughter, Cindy Wolf; brother, Buel Wolf; and great-grandchildren, Jonah and Isiah.
He is survived by sons, Rev. Russell W. Wolf and wife Irene of Grand Island, Neb. and Chris A. Wolf and wife Stacey of Morrison; granddaughters, Candace Wolf of Grand Island, Neb., Heather Gregory and husband Rev. Andrew of Auxvasse and Cadence Wolf of Chillicothe; grandsons, Nathanael Wolf of Grand Island, Neb. and Branden Wolf and wife Kaneasha of Hermann; step-grandsons, Ethan Chenault of Columbia, Tristan Chenault of Jefferson City and Logan Prey of St. Martin’s; great-grandsons, Alekzander, Solomon, Issobella and Asher Gregory; and brother-in-law, Kirk Haeffner and wife Lana of St. Peters.
Funeral services were held (today) Wednesday, May 27, at First United Pentecostal Church in Hermann, with Rev. B.W. Masters and Rev. Doug Kuebler officiating. Interment was in the Gasconade Cemetery.
