BONNOTS MILL  — Charles W. Boelkes, 50, of Bonnots Mill, was arrested on Jan. 2 by Osage County deputies after a 911 open-line call that authorities treated as a possible domestic disturbance in progress.

According to Capt. Travis Shaffer, Cpl. Darryl Chrisenberry and Deputy Ben Sallin conducted an on-scene investigation and determined there was no domestic disturbance. They discovered that Boelkes had placed the call and appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic.

Boelkes had an outstanding federal arrest warrant issued by the U.S. Marshal’s Service for a probation violation arising from an original charge of a felon being in possession of a firearm.

He was arrested and transported to the Osage County Jail for processing and later released to the custody of the U.S. Marshal’s Service.
