Caden Thomas Moss, 16, Owensville, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan.
He was born April 25, 2003, to Elisa (Minnigerode) and Charles “Chuck” Moss Jr., in St. Louis.
Caden had been attending the Zion Lutheran Church in Owensville. He was a member of FFA, enjoyed playing sports, hunting and fishing. At age 14, he started concentrating on bull riding. As time went on, he became more and more determined to be great. His ultimate goal was to win a PBR Championship. Through the loss of Caden, many lives were saved as he created numerous Easter weekend miracles by being an organ donor.
He is survived by mother, Elisa Minnigerode of Owensville; father, Chuck, of Owensville; grandmothers, Linda Minnigerode of Owensville and special friend David Batson and Carol Moss of Cuba; sisters, Kori Moss, Haley Ryan and Lainey Moss, all of Owensville; nieces, Kloie, Luna and Sydney; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Services will be private; burial will be in Owensville City Cemetery.
A memorial fund is being set up. Information will be announced at a later date.
