Calvin E. Luhring, 83, Rosebud, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 19, 1938, to Ralph and Iva (Hollandsworth) Luhring in Franklin County near Rosebud.
He was united in marriage to Naomi Crider, May 26, 1960, in Belle.
Calvin was a member of Owensville Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by parents Ralph and Iva; daughter Joann Barringhaus; great-great-granddaughter Addi Floyd; and sister Sylvia DeVault.
He is survived by wife Naomi of the home; children Gerry Bomback and husband Jack of Owensville, Sharon Moyer of St. Charles, Debbie Bruner and husband Ron of Foristell, Buddy Luhring and wife Nancy of O’Fallon and Keith Luhring and wife Jen of Old Monroe; and 21 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, from 9–11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel with Pastor Les Dority officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
