Charles Jeffrey “Jeff” Kahle, 66, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born May 19, 1957, to Marvin H. and Wanda G. (Leighliter) Kahle in Connellsville, Penn.
He was a member of the U.S. Air Force. Jeff worked many years in the family business, Kahle Refuse Service Incorporated. After the family business was sold, he worked for Boettcher Concrete and Gruenloh Excavating until retiring. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, and his love of scratcher tickets. He was raised in the United Church of Christ. Jeff enjoyed his many friends — who were dear to his heart.
He was preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Wanda Kahle.
Jeff is survived by sons, Jason Kahle of the home and Justin Kahle of Belle; sisters, Theresa Koepke and husband Bob of Norwood, Minn., Claralee Moore and Russell Boese and Becky Kahle all of Nixa; grandchildren, Annora, Charlie, Gunner, and Raiden Kahle; nieces, Jennifer Lindeman, Melissa McConnell, Sayard Harris, and Lacy Wurtz; nephews, Christopher Lauth and Trey Moore; and many great nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by many. Godspeed and fly high our beloved dad, brother, and friend.
His body was cremated. A military burial will be held at a later date in honor of his service to his country.
