Chelsey Dawn Bray, 20, of Belle, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at her home.
She was born July 15, 2002, at St. Mary’s in Jefferson City, a daughter to Christopher and Theresa (Sauer) Bray. Both parents survive of their home.
Chelsey was a 2020 graduate of Belle High School and a member of the First Christian Church where she was baptized on June 26, 2016. She had been employed at Walmart and had recently started working at Dollar General.
Chelsey was an animal lover and had taken online classes to be a Veterinary Technician. She enjoyed volunteering at P.E.P. in her spare time. She was very artistic and loved to draw, paint, and do crafts and many of her works decorated her room. Chelsey was a very compassionate person who would try and be friends with everyone and would take time out to try and help out someone who was struggling with life. She adored kids, whether it was her niece, nephews or her friends children, she loved spending time with them. Gone too soon, she will be missed tremendously by her family, friends, and those that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Larry Sauer; aunt, Tammy Sauer; and step-grandfather, Johnie Buehrlen.
Chelsey is survived by parents, Christopher and Theresa; brothers, Garret Bialczyk and wife Danica of Belle, Trey Bray and wife Mayre of Rolla, and Harley Bialczyk and wife Savannah of Las Vegas; paternal grandparents, Albert Bray and Judy Bray; maternal grandmother, Mildred Buehrlen; niece, Kyrah Bialczyk; and nephews, Ryker Bialczyk and Trey Bray, Jr.; as well many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 28, at the First Christian Church in Belle, with Richard Doughten officiating. Interment was in the Skaggs Cemetery.
