Christine “Sherrie” Lynn Fritz, 71, of Berger, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026 at Mercy De Greeff Hospice House, St. Louis.
Christine was born in Miami, Florida, on Feb. 24, 1955, the daughter of the late Fred Arthur & Luna Adois (Dent) Halston.
She was the wife of Robert “Bob” Fritz. They were united in marriage on May 17, 1982, in Milwaukee, Wisc. Bob survives at the home.
Christine is also survived by two sons, Robert Edwards, of Union and Sean Fritz, of St. Clair; and six grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Shannon Edwards.
Memorial services were held Friday, May 1st.
Memorial donations may be given to Franklin County Humane Society.
