Christmas giving
Andrew Michel, a planner with the Operation Christmas program, applauds Owensville High School FCCLA members Arianna Baguio, Olivia Crull, Sophia Gregor, Kiana Wehmeyer, Hannah Fletcher, Allie Kuebler, and Olivia Beste after they had completed boxing day packing for the 2023 campaign on Dec. 13. They helped prepare food boxes for 175 area families including140 children, and 361 adults.

Owensville Police Lt. Scott Griffith, acting chief, and Rosebud Chief Lynde Mantels visit Saturday at Walmart with a family participating in the Shop With A Cop program. Lawmen from 10 area agencies helped 47 children select $175 worth of gifts each for Christmas. Another nine who were unable to attend were to have gift cards delivered by participating lawmen.
