Corey J. Barrick, 36, Leasburg, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at his residence.
He was born June 20, 1985, to Danny R. and Barbara (Cunningham) Barrick in Rolla.
Corey loved being a dad and he was a great dad. He admired his father and told him that all the time. He had accepted Jesus Christ into his heart at age 10 at Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Owensville. He was a devout Christian.
He enjoyed go-carting with his children, always working on them and riding the country roads. He also enjoyed fishing, creeks and feeding the ducks in the park at Steelville.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Jerry and Mary Cunningham and Fritz and Loretta Barrick; and brother Travis Barrick.
He is survived by parents Danny and Barbara Barrick of Cuba; children Elizabeth and C.J. Barrick; fiancé Mandie Rebura; stepchildren Bryer and Konner; sister Chivonne Dickerson of Port Orange, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Gottenstroeter Chapel, Owensville, with pastor Tommy Miller officiating. Burial was in Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville.
