Curt M. Cook, age 55, of Belle, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Mercy hospital in Springfield, while surrounded by his family’s love.

He was born June 22, 1968, son to the late Leroy Cook and Deanna Schuenemeyer in Jefferson City.

After high school, Curt attended Missouri State University, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He did internships in college with Disney World, Wal-Mart, and Toys-R-Us.  Curt was employed by AMF Billiards and Games from 1991 until 2004, where he was promoted to a territorial sales management position. In 2004, Curt accepted the position of National Sales Manager with the C.L. Bailey Co. in Marionville, until his retirement from billiards in 2017. Curt had a career of hard work and passion.

Curt’s greatest loves were his two children, Spencer Cook and Erica Cook White, who he lovingly raised in Nixa. He knew how to enjoy everyday moments, meals, and adventures with his children and loved ones.

Curt was passionate about hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Curt loved learning new skills, and teaching others them as well. He was a great story teller and a generous host. Many have enjoyed his homemade gravy over breakfast with him.

Curt is survived by his children, Spencer Cook and Erica (Nathan) White, and granddaughter, Winnie. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Although Curt is gone from this earth, we find hope that we will be with him again in heaven. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
