David Wayne Jenkins, 53, of Canaan passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1967, to David Ray and Barbara (Grannemann) Jenkins in Washington.
David had served his country with the U. S. Navy. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Owensville. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing and spending time with grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Jenkins.
He is survived by his fiancé, Rachel Dittman of Canaan; mother, Barbara Gillam and husband Clifford of Owensville; stepmother Patricia Jenkins of Rosebud; son, Justin Jenkins of House Springs; daughters, Jessica Medlock and husband Nathan of Owensville, Jennifer Wright and husband Joshua of Gerald, Cearra Brennan and husband Anthony of Owensville, Carena Dittman and special friend Irvin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Caeman Johnson of Canaan; brother Mark Jenkins and wife Dawn of Union; sisters, Julie Winistoerfer and significant other David Griffin of Marthasville, Cheryl Clemons and husband Grant of Marshfield and Jodie Milanowski and husband Anthony of Rosebud; seven grandchildren, Abby, Bentley, Ava, Aaliyah, Jodie, Dennis and Natalie.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 9 at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville with Pastor Shane Jarvis officiating.
