Deanna (Ebker) Dotson, 76, St. Charles, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020.
She was born Feb. 29, 1944, to Louis and Dorothy Ebker in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Tony Dotson, April 9, 1966, at Owensville.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Tony Dotson; her parents, Louis and Dorothy Ebker; and her brother, Ron (survived by Wanetha) Ebker.
Deanna is survived by her sons, Michael (Nina) Dotson and Brian (Sherry) Dotson; her grandchildren, Tara (Michael Riley), Taylor, James, Traci and PFC Zachary; her siblings, Gerald (the late Martha) Ebker and Patricia (Edward) Mobley; and her nieces and nephews.
Deanna was a member of St. Peters Church of Christ where she volunteered her time to head the teddy bear program there. She received her RN from St. Louis School of Nursing. She had a caring spirit and served as a nurse for over 50 years, a career that was a perfect match for her selfless attitude of always being the first person to help and the last to ask for it.
She loved being a grandmother and being there to cheer for her grandkids during their sports events. In her free time, Deanna loved to cook and bake, especially her famous sugar cookies, or take up a crocheting project. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
