Delmar Vernon Hesemann, 84, of Macon, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at Macon Health Care Center in Macon.
He was born Nov. 10, 1939, to John Charles and Esther Louise (Motschenbach) Hesemann in Randolph County, who originally were from Gasconade County.
Delmar enjoyed farming, especially driving tractors and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Esther; brother, Wesley Hesemann; sister, Mae Asbury; and nephew Keith Asbury.
He is survived by nephews, Ross Asbury and wife Nancy of the state of Washington, Craig Asbury of Monroe County and Sean Asbury of Jefferson City; and by several grand and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at St. James United Church of Christ Cemetery in Charlotte with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
