Denny W. Brautigam, 69, of Fulton, passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023 in Vienna.
He was born May 17, 1954, the son of Robert G. & Mildred M. “Millie” (Elfline) Brautigam in Hermann.
Denny has held various jobs throughout his life. He started working at Kellwood in New Haven. He then went to work as an asbestos removal technician for 30 years, with a company based out of Jefferson City. He most recently worked in several different states for numerous nuclear power plants during their refueling.
Denny was a member of the Local Laborers 662 and was a former Jaycees. In his free time he enjoyed collecting cars, scraping, and riding his four wheeler. His biggest enjoyment though was spending time with his family and helping the less fortunate.
He is preceded in death by father, Robert; and brother, Gary Brautigam.
Denny is survived by mother, Millie of New Haven; daughters, Lynn Schleeter and husband Shaun of Harrisburg and Heather Anderson of Mexico; son, Jason Ewald of Holts Summit; brother, Terry Brautigam of New Haven; grandsons, Cameron Neal and wife Kelsey, Christopher Zahara, Andrew Neal and Kyle Schleeter; and great-grandchildren, Evan and Maddox Neal.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (today), Aug. 9, at 11 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
Burial will be at Swiss Evangelical Reformed Cemetery, Swiss.
Memorials may be given to Swiss Evangelical Reformed Cemetery.
