Don Miguel Rendon, 43, of Gerald, passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born March 21, 1980, to Lorenzo and Shirley (Burr) Rendon in Washington.
Don was an asset to Gasconade County. He was a dispatcher for over 20 years joining Gasconade County in Nov. 2018, promoted to supervisor in 2021 and in 2022 achieved the goal of ACE Accredited Center of Excellence. He was committed to guiding our operators and working with the academy. This was a journey that Don took on which required a great amount of energy and work. He attended the police academy in Union for training to be an officer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Riley of Linn; and siblings, Keno Rendon of Linn and LaDonna Wilcox of Belle.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, from 3–8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
