Donald “Donnie” Keith Wehmeyer, 63, Rosebud, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
He was born Dec. 1, 1955, to Norman and Wilma (Richardson) Wehmeyer, at Washington.
He was united in marriage to Rhonda Pohlmann, May 16, 1981, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud.
Donnie enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, camping, traveling, collecting antiques and neon signs. He enjoyed restoring his 1948 Chevy pickup that he named “Touch of Copper.” Donnie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosebud.
He was preceded in death by parents, Norman and Wilma; father-in-law, Kleo Pohlmann; and mother in-law, Marian Pohlmann.
He is survived by wife, Rhonda; son, Kurtis Wehmeyer of Rosebud; brothers, Michael Wehmeyer and wife Rhonda of St. Louis and Gary Wehmeyer and wife Shawn of Owensville; sister, Debbie Landolt and husband Chris of Gerald; and nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and many friends.
Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 7, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud with Pastor Bill Liebmann officiating. Burial was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rosebud. Memorial contributions suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
