A Morrison man was arrested May 31 and charged with drug and weapons violations following a warrant search in the 100 block of Ash Street in the city of Gasconade.
Gasconade County Sheriff Scott Eiler reports deputies with his department, the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG), and the East Central Drug Task Force executed a drug-related search warrant was made with one white male and two white females.
“A search of the residence was conducted and as a result of the search, approximately 81 grams of methamphetamine, eight rifles, and items of drug paraphernalia utilized in the consumption and distribution of methamphetamine was located and seized,” according to release from Eiler.
Anthony M. Webb was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Adult Detention Facility in Steelville pending formal charges. On June 1, Webb was charged with possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful use of weapon by possessing a weapon and a felony controlled substance. Webb’s bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety in the Circuit Court of Gasconade County.
