First Baptist Church youth group members Killian Carpenter and Tara Rogers prepare the final batch of 10,000 plastic eggs to be collected by area children on Saturday during the Easter Egg hunt hosted by the Owensville Police Department. Lt. Scott Griffith, interim police chief, credited Pastor Kyle Orick and his youth group members for their continued assistance in preparing the prize eggs for the hunt held on Memorial Park’s Memorial Field. Sunny but extremely windy and chilly conditions prevailed throughout the early afternoon event.
