Ella Marie Schneider, 86, of Owensville, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 4, 1936, to Henry and Ella Mary (Krammer) Bentlage in Bland.
She was united in marriage to Arvel H. Schneider, Nov. 27, 1954, at Zion United Church of Christ in Bland.
Ella was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Bland. She had owned and operated a baby sitting service out of her home for many years. She enjoyed dancing, fishing, embroidery, puzzles, reading, going to casinos, watching western shows and taking care of her beloved dog Max.
She was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Ella; husband, Arvel; and siblings, Freida Nowack and Raymond Bentlage.
She is survived by children, Arvel Lee Schneider and wife Mary, Alan Schneider and wife Donna and Tammy Marriott and husband Charlie all of Owensville; grandchildren, Casey Baldridge and husband Robert, Tiffany Sturgill and husband Joel, Jared Schneider and wife Maria, Tharon Schneider and wife Monica and Alexis Farnsworth and fiancé Patrick Dickerson; and great-grandchildren, Brock, Hazel, Katheryn, Adelaide, Lyla, Rowan and Avery.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 1, at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial was in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
