She was born Feb. 21, 1929, to W.S. and Amanda Lemmel Miller. at the family home in Hope.
She was united in marriage April 19, 1947, to Bill Schaeperkoetter at the Oklahoma Church of Christ near Hope in Osage County.

A wonderful cook, Eloise was known to have a cookie jar full of chocolate chip cookies. Saturday evening supper was always warm homemade bread and Sunday morning breakfast was fresh cinnamon rolls or cinnamon bread which she had baked Saturday afternoon. At Christmas, she would bake dozens of cinnamon rolls and give to friends and family. She also made homemade preserves and apple butter the old-fashioned way. Sunday dinners were large family gatherings with delicious meals. Eloise was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.
