Frances Jewell “Julie” Barton, 73, Gerald, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born July 26, 1946, to Robert William and Frances (King) Owens, in Ector, Texas.
Frances “Julie” enjoyed reading and her job caring for her nursing home residents for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Frances; son, John Barton; daughters, Anita Barton and Dee Ann Gloriod; and brother, Bobby Owens.
She is survived by sons, Jeff Barton and Karen Barton of Gerald and Derrick Barton of Gerald; brother, Charlie Owens and wife Cindy of Union; sisters, Liz Lampkin of Gerald and Linda Stroupe and husband Ray of Belle; grandchildren, Tony and Dustin Barton, Nikki Logan, and Matt and Zach Barton; and by three great-grandchildren.
Her cremains will be interred at the Woodman Cemetery in Leslie. No services are planned at this time.
