Franklin Charles Anderson, 80, of Owensville, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Stonebridge of Owensville.
He was born Oct. 24, 1943, to Arthur and Alpha (Copeland) Anderson in Patterson.
He was united in marriage Aug. 29, 1964, to Helen Berneice Gowen in Piedmont.
Franklin was a member of First Baptist Church in Owensville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors.
He was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Alpha; son, Tim Anderson; grandson, Caleb Lenauer; and sister, Judy Brinkley.
He is survived by wife, Berneice of their home; children, Robin Lenauer and husband Chris and Adam Anderson and wife Natasha all of Owensville; siblings, Ruby Joshu, Roger Anderson and Clifford Anderson and wife Sheila all of Piedmont; grandchildren, Amber Grayson and husband Adam, Colton Lenauer and wife Lauren, Samantha Hardin and husband Phillip, Abigail Anderson, Noah Anderson and Kya Anderson; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 5, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Roger Johnson and Rev. Kevin Sullivian officiating. Burial was in Boeuff Presbyterian Cemetery in Gerald.
