The idea for live music jams came last school year, according to OHS teacher Tyler Ahring. “One morning last year the high school band left a keyboard and speaker on a cart plugged up in the cafeteria,” Ahring said. “Ashden Murphy came in that morning and randomly just started playing it. He sounded fantastic and everyone seemed to really enjoy listening. Fast forward to the beginning of this school year and I asked (OHS Principal Kris Altemeyer) if it would be okay if we had some live music on Friday mornings in the cafeteria.”
