Last week, athletes and coaches from Owensville Athletic Association (OAA) baseball and softball teams were recognized.

This week’s installment of Will’ful Thinking will recognize players and coaches that participated on Gerald Athletic Association (GAA) baseball, softball and T-ball teams.

Beginning with the four T-ball teams, Team Franke’s roster comprised of players Ava Anderson, Raegan Blankenship, Beckham Franke, Landon Franke, Brynlee Mayberry, Waylon Molitor, Lakelynn Potter and Lydia Wuerffel.

They were coached by Bryan Franke and Kelsey Potter.

Players making up Team Guerrant/Reprogle in GAA T-ball included Dallas Diekmann, Owen Guerrant, Cooper Reprogle, Wyatt Robertson, Lennox Rodriguez, Emma Ward, Jordan Ward and Robert Wildhaber.

Their coaches were Andrew Reprogle, Kyle Guerrant and Robert Wildhaber.

Comprising the roster of Team Hubenthal/Fritzemeyer T-ball team were Arlo Collins, Kade Danz, Wyatt Fritzemeyer, Eli Gerlemann, Maelynne Hoock, Lucy Lindeman, Everett Meyer and Tucker Warmbrodt.

Brent Hoock, Jared Fritzemeyer and Chelsie Hubenthal were their coaches.

Capping GAA T-ball were Team Landwehr players Sawyer Aslinger, Rowan Edsall, Josephine Edwards, Brantley Hollingsworth, Ryan Lottmann, Braelyn Rakausky, Arya Struemph and Easton Glandon.

Brad and Emily Landwehr served as their volunteer coaches.

Atom division baseball had two teams compete in the GAA this past summer.

First for Team Gehlert were players Brayden Blaue, Waylon Bockman, Cooper Collins, Kempson Gehlert, Macklin Joers, Arrow Jones, Jackson Monzyk, Weston Robertson, Alex Viehland, Bentley Viehland and Lucas Ward.

Ethan Joers and Ben Gehlert were their coaches.

Rounding out the Atom Division was Team Wheat consisting of players Keegan Alferman, Elijah Branson, Declan Dunker, Dale Fritzemeyer, Ryder Hollandsworth, Axel Hoock, Cadence Kirk, Easton Redhage, Walker Voss and Gavin Wheat.

Those players were coached by Emily Hollandsworth and Zachary Wheat.

Bantom Division GAA baseball also had two teams compete throughout May and June.

Team Freiberger comprised of players Dominic Borgmann, Nickolai Coppedge, Braxton Freiberger, Dennis Gillam, Brody Hankins, Jaxxon Kelley, Jace Meyer, Nathan Muluh, Brendan Royle, Kash Saebens and Lawrence Scott.

Their coaches were Cory Hankins and Bryan Freiberger.

Rounding out the Bantam division was Team Guerrant made up of players Kooper Amato, Gabriel Collins, Waylon Danz, Garrett Hackstedt, Brett Meyer, Carter Olson, Cash Reprogle, Arloh Sturtz, Logan Warmbrodt, Liam Wheat and Maxton Wheat.

Coaches for Team Guerrant included Andrew Reprogle, Charles Sturtz, Kyle Guerrant and Zachary Wheat.

Making up the lone team in the Midget Division (12U) of GAA baseball was Team Duncan/Amato consisting of players Jensen Akins, Syrus Austin, Weston Beste, Jonathan Doze, Emmitt Duncan, Nathaniel Foster, Hayden Graham-Horn, Maverick Joers, Waylon Kohrmann, Oliver Lezama, Gabriel Novotney, Luke Oswalt, Aiden Ring and Parker Robson.

Justin Duncan and Alex Amato were their coaches.

Rounding out the list of GAA squads in the Juvenile Division (14U) were Team Marquart players Michael Anderson, Noah Anderson, Brandon Arens, Hunter Boland, Ayden Gutermuth, Masyn Kleekamp, Landon Kohrmann, Dustin Little, Micah Maness, Daniel Marquart, Landon Olson, Bowen Palmer, Carter Price and Easton Geisler-Cates.

Coaching these youngsters were Brett Palmer, David Olson and Daniel Marquart.

Rescheduled from Saturday, June 27, the GAA end-of-season fun day will be held on Saturday, July 11 at Gerald City Park beginning at 5 p.m.

There will be a home run derby along with an outside movie in addition to provided hot dogs, chip and water.
