Gentry Allen Chandler, 82, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023, at Stonebridge Adams Street in Jefferson City.
He was born Dec. 29, 1940, to Ira D. and Berniece (Ebker) Chandler in Bay.
He was united in marriage to Rosalie Eddings and they were married for over 20 years.
Gentry enjoyed antique cars, taking drives in the country, visiting with friends and especially chatting about the old days.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ira and Berniece; and wife, Rosalie.
He is survived by partner of 31 years, Sandra Badger of Jefferson City; daughter, Jennifer Chandler of Washington; brother, Doug Chandler of Owensville; sisters, Phyllis Grey and husband Gary and Donna Burke all of Houston, Texas; and by five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 11, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Drake Methodist Cemetery.
