Glennon Barton, 85, Bland, passed away on Feb. 4, 2026, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born Jan. 17, 1941, to the late Alton and Stella (Koch) Barton in St. Louis.
He was a 1959 graduate of Bland High School.
Glenn was united in marriage to Juanita Barton.
He worked construction for many years for Bill Krause Foundations.
Glenn was preceded in death by parents, Alton and Stella; and brother, Milton Barton.
He is survived by children, Matthew Barton of Jefferson City and Michelle Terriquez and husband Joe of Kansas City; long-time companion, Mary Jane Hawkins; and siblings, Patsy Tousant of Albany, Calif., Virginia Engelbrecht and Mary Williams, both of Jefferson City and Jimmy Barton and wife Bonnie of Fulton.
The Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Belle, with Father Philip Kane officiating.
Interment was in the Bland Union Cemetery in Bland.
Arrangements entrusted to Sassmann’s Chapel in Bland.
