Goldie Irene Dotson, 93, of Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, at Stonebridge of Owensville.
She was born Oct. 17, 1930, to Edgar L. and Sophia (Griffith) Hartman in Washington.
She was united in marriage to Reuben Dotson, Aug. 28, 1948, in Hermann.
Goldie enjoyed working with flowers, being outdoors and going out to eat. She attended First Baptist Church when she was younger.
She was preceded in death by parents, Edgar and Sophia; husband, Reuben; son, Steve Dotson; siblings, Kenneth, Ellwood and Oriece Hartman, Louise Bomback and brother in infancy.
She is survived by son, David Dotson and wife Jackie of Carrollton; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Dotson of Washington; and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her body was cremated and private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Countryside Memorial Gardens.
