Grace V. Fehlings, 97, of Hermann, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at StoneBridge Senior Living, Hermann.
She was born Dec. 2, 1925, to Eugene and Clara (Proett) Oberg in Stony Hill.
She was united in marriage to Alvin “Junior” W. Fehlings, June 28, 1947, in Hermann.
Grace worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory. She was a member of St. George Church, Hermann and the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Clara; husband, Alvin; and brother, Harold Oberg.
Grace is survived by daughter, Lavonne Marino and husband Joe of Huntley, Ill.; and two grandsons.
A funeral mass was held Friday, July 21, at St. Martin’s Church, Starkenburg, with Father Philip Niekamp officiating. Burial will be at St. Martin’s Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Hermann V.F.W. Post 4182 or St. George Church.
