Gregory Wayne Vanover, 29, of Gerald, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
He was born Dec. 23, 1993, to Jerry D. and Donna J. (Shepherd) Vanover in Washington.
Gregory enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, times at the river, playing pool, spending time with family and friends and especially the love of his life, his daughter.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Donald Shepherd and James Holmes; and paternal grandparent, Georgia Lavin.
He is survived by fiancé, Katarina Jacquez of Gerald; mother, Donna Vanover and partner Robert Atkins of Gerald; father, Jerry Vanover and Heather of Sullivan; maternal grandparents, Jane Shepherd of Gerald and Sandra Holmes of Sullivan; daughter, Lilah Jane Vanover of St. James; brothers, Jacob Vanover of Sullivan and Zachary Maldonado of St. Louis; sister, Megan Stevens and husband Cody of Xenia, Ohio; and many more family and friends.
Visitation was held Saturday, Dec. 9, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Gerald.
