Last week, this column explained why the Palestinians in Gaza are full of hate. They teach this, starting with children from birth. But there are also ludicrous ideas being introduced and spread in the United States of America.
Let’s start with a new way to reduce crime in the United States: Change the definition of crime.
This was suggested earlier this month by prominent civil rights attorney Ben Crump — not as a joke — on a MSNBC special entitled “Black Men in America: Road to 2024.”
“I believe this with everything in my heart,” Crump said, “we can get rid of all the crime in America overnight, just like that, and people ask, ‘How, Attorney Crump?’ “Change the definition of ‘crime,’” he said.
So I assume he wants to change the definition so no one can be put in jail for rape, murder, or theft.
Keeping with the “law and order” theme, the Chicago Board of Education voted Thursday to remove uniformed school resource officers from 39 out of 634 of its city schools.
The Windy City — trying to show again it’s lunacy — is suing oil companies for causing climate change. To demonstrate its commitment to this crisis, Chicago should immediately shut down the natural gas and coal-fired generators, which provide 37 percent of its electricity.
Last week, the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission (AQCC) voted 8-0 to prohibit gas-powered lawn and garden equipment from being used on public property. If Joe Biden — or any other Democrat is elected President in 2024 — I predict they will outlaw gas-powered lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and weed eaters for everyone.
In 2019, House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md, complained about the Trump Administration separating children from their parents at the Southern border. He called this “inhuman.”
In 2021, officials in Indiana investigated Mary and Jeremy Cox because they were not referring to their child by his preferred gender identity. The state ended up removing the teen from the Cox’s care.
“This is what every parent is afraid of,” Mary and Jeremy Cox said in a press release. “We love our son and wanted to care for him, but the state of Indiana robbed us of that opportunity by taking him from our home and banning us from speaking to him about gender.”

An $18 hamburger meal would be a bargain if Calif. Democrat Rep. Barbara Lee got her way. She is calling for a $50 minimum wage. That translates to $104,000 a year for a 40-hour work week. You think inflation is terrible now.
That’s not the only crazy idea to come out of California during February. Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State University Los Angeles believes all Taylor Swift fans are racist. Abdullah posted to X on Superbowl Sunday, “Why do I feel like it’s slightly racist to be a Taylor Swift fan?” After the game she posted, “Why do I feel like this was some right-wing, white-supremacist conspiracy?!?! Booooooo!!!! #SuperBowl.”
This rhetoric sews the seeds of division and hate. The same hate that Palestinians have for Jews.
In the same line of thinking, Google was forced to apologize last week after its new Gemini artificial intelligence refused to show pictures and achievements of White people. When Fox News Digital asked Gemini to show pictures of white people, it said it could not fulfill the request because it “reinforces harmful stereotypes and generalizations about people based on their race.”
I saved the best for last.
Akiea’ Ki’ Gross heads a company called “Woke Kindergarten.” Her curriculum materials can be found in many schools, including a San Francisco Bay-area elementary school.
“I believe the United States has no right to exist. I believe every settler colony who has committed genocide against native peoples, against Indigenous people, has no right to exist,” Gross said in a recent Instagram post. “Y’all the demons. Y’all are the villains. We’ve been trying to end y’all. Get free of y’all.”
Notice one thing in common about all these examples? These are far-left progressive Democrats trying to divide America with hate. They are Marxists who want to end the greatest country on earth.
America has not gone crazy. These Democrats have.
