Herbert Charles Hurst, 60, of Hermann, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia.
He was born Dec. 23, 1963, to Andrew and Martha (Webber) Hurst in Jefferson City.
Herb was an electrician and owned and operated Hurst Electric.
He was preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Martha; brother, David Hurst; and brother-in-law, Danny Wolf.
Herb is survived by significant other, Melissa Stiegman of Hermann; sons, Christopher Hurst of Fulton, and Sam Hurst and girlfriend Reyawnna Poole of Hermann; and sisters, Theresa Dietz, Carolyn Hurst both of Hermann, and Virginia Wolf of Morrison.
A private graveside service will be held at St. George Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.
