HERMANN —Hermann hosted 15 other schools at the Hermann Invitational track and field meet Monday, April 22, and the home teams performed well against the large field with two first place finishes and 12 in the top-three.

Amelia Uthlaut took first place in the 800m run with a time of 2:29.55 for Hermann’s girls sole first place.

The boys’ first place came in the 4x100m throwers relay with a time of 50.49.

Overall, the girls had eight top-three performances and the boys had four.
